Meet Billy, New Era’s Broker and Auctioneer!

Billy was born and raised in Webster County Georgia where he still resides. He has two grown daughters and two grandsons. Billy graduated from Greenfield Academy and then attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College to earn an Associate Degree in Agri-Business. After successful completion of his undergraduate studies, Billy went on to get his real estate license and auctioneers license from Reppert School of Auctioneering in Decatur, Indiana.

In the years that followed, Billy worked with several successful auction companies while building a substantial farming operation for himself and his family. Billy’s farming operation focused primarily on row crops but was centered around good stewardship of the land. By implementing the best soil and water conservation programs available, he earned several conservation achievement awards during his farming career. While Billy’s primary connection to the land was through agriculture, hunting and fishing were, and are still, activities that Billy enjoys during his spare time.

Aside from his business endeavors, Billy helped charter two National Wild Turkey Federation Chapters in Richland and Dawson, Georgia, and holds a Georgia state record for a turkey he harvested. While continuing to be the auctioneer at hundreds of NWTF, Ducks Unlimited, and NRA events, the last 15 years have been spent working as a full-time realtor and auctioneer with a focus on recreational and agricultural properties.

Over that time, he has built a very large clientele base resulting in many long-time friends and customers. His goal is for clients of New Era Land Company to have the best experience possible buying and selling their property.
